Kansas WATER Training is a new company that
provides assistance, training, and educational resources for water operators of
Public Water Supply Systems (PWSS).
Mission Statement: The mission is to
provide education and technical assistance to municipal and industrial potable
water operators to help them to optimally and safely manage, treat, and
maintain their potable water systems.
On the following pages, the viewer will find information on these services. One
of the advantages of Kansas WATER Training is
it’s flexibility to provide a variety of customized long-term courses or
continuing education workshops for the water operator and PWSS.

Michael Ball, owner of Kansas WATER Training, demonstrates great enthusiasm and
expertise as a teacher and workshop presenter. He previously was a surface
water operator and has been an environmental technology instructor for 8 1/2
years. As an instructor, Michael Ball has worked in 11 surface water treatment
plants, 13 precipitation softening plants, 2 reverse osmosis treatment plants,
1 microfiltration treat-ment plant, 2 oxidation and filtration plants for iron
and manganese, and numerous water systems with various problems and/or
non-compliant issues.
